What if you could get what you NEED

           By doing what you CAN?

In these tight times, what if you could get help with what you need without money? What if you could trade the things you enjoy doing -- or do anyway -- for services you need or want?

Many communities are successfully doing this already. It's called "TimeBanking," and for every hour you do something for someone else, you earn an hour (a"time dollar" or  "time credit") which can be used to have someone do something for you. It's that simple.

Hours can be earned for anything from walking a dog to giving a ride; fixing a tire to painting a room; baking a cake to picking up groceries; mowing a lawn to shoveling snow -- the possibilities are endless, and one hour equals one hour, for any service provided.

Whatever the age or ability, EVERYONE has something to offer.

TimeBanks are also a way to learn new skills, and even help find jobs. Regular gatherings build community, and give you a chance to know your neighbors, and the folks you will be trading time with.

Since most existing TimeBanks are too far away, we've started our own TimeBank.
Contact us if you would like to join or be on our mailing list, or even if you just want want more information. Be sure to follow us on Facebook, for regular updates of events, services offered, and other news.

Help us get the word out!
